Why the opal of all stones
A stone that belongs to no one else
Opal is October's birthstone. Unlike diamond or sapphire, no specimen is like another: the play of color comes from tiny silica spheres that refract light, and that arrangement grew differently in every stone. Anyone born in October therefore wears not a color, but a pattern that exists only once.

Frequently asked questions
October FAQ
Until 31 October at 23:59. What counts is the time of your order, not shipping. So if you order on the evening of 31 October you still get the package, even if the piece only leaves the workshop in November. After that, Energy Guide, raw opal, engraving and gift service cost separately again.
Four things, together over $100: the printed Energy Guide to your stone worth $18.99, a genuine uncut raw opal in the collector's box with loupe for $49.99, engraving for $19 and gift service for $21. You do not need a voucher code — it is added automatically. Engraving in October applies to silver pieces; guide, raw opal and gift service come with gold and silver alike.
Yes. We use exclusively genuine natural opals; imitations or synthetic stones are out of the question. In part we work with doublets and triplets, where the opal is set on a backing so thin layers become wearable. Which construction your piece has is on every product page. Every piece is checked by the Gemmological Stone Quality Control Berlin; the GSB certificate comes with the box.
Yes. The outer packaging is neutral so the gift stays a surprise, even if someone else opens the door. Inside waits the fine box with certificate and gift pouch; in October also the personalized gift service with your name on the box and your hand-sealed card.
On the product page click Yes for engraving and gift service; three fields open: the text for the piece, the name for the box and your lines for the card. You write everything there before adding to cart. If you are unsure, write to us — we proofread every engraving before it goes to the workshop.
